Wild Rose Thai Massage

Feel Deeply Nourished, Replenished & Alive

What is Thai Massage?

Thai massage is a sacred dance and ancient system of healing with roots in Thai medicine.

Therapeutic Thai Massage is a healing combination of conscious touch, rhythmic massage, deep pressure to the energy (Sen) lines, yoga-like stretches and acupressure.

Massages are given on a large mat with the receiver comfortably dressed. The practitioner uses their hands, elbows, knees and feet to apply deep therapeutic pressure throughout the massage.

Thai Massage is a dance of the elements:

earth | dense, stable, secure, bones

water | fluid, soft, connecting, blood & lymph

fire | intense, hot, transformative, digestion

wind | light, mobile, adaptable, nervous system

ether | infinite, expansive, omnipresent, consciousness

It is a beautiful practice of blissful surrender, ceremony, loving kindness and deep presence.

Testimonial:

“I have been lucky enough to experience Thai massage from Sonja since she began, and even during my very first treatment it was apparent that she had found her calling. No two, of the hundreds of massages, that I have received have been the same. Each one tunes into my body in that moment, anticipating and addressing issues, some of which I had not even been able to articulate. She is one of the most talented practitioners to ever work on my body, offering a holistic experience and therapy.”
